Chemistry Study Program

Vision:

Becoming a referral study program in Chemistry based on the Philosophy of Tri Hita Karana in Asia in 2045

Mission

  1. Organizing dignified education and teaching to produce competitive, collaborative, and characterized human resources in the field of chemistry
  2. Conducting competitive, collaborative, and innovative research and development in chemistry with high impact for the advancement of science and technology
  3. Organizing community service as the application of chemistry in a multidisciplinary manner to enhance the welfare and peace of the community

The Goals

  1. To produce graduates with professional careers, especially as Research and development personnel and analysts in chemical/pharmaceutical, clinical, and forensic industrial laboratories who have noble character, environmentally conscious, entrepreneurial spirit, high leadership and communication skills, global insight, and high competitiveness at the national, regional and international levels.
  2. To produce research of high scientific value at the national and international level, applicable, and able to increase the nation's competitiveness
  3. Produce a technology package and community services that are able to make a positive contribution to the acceleration and development of both small and medium industries

The Profile of Graduates

  1. Quality Assurance Analyst The QA analyst is responsible for inspecting products, systems and materials to ensure there are no defects, and ensuring that products are manufactured according to company standards. QA is the main gateway between the quality of production on the one hand and consumer desires on the other. Therefore, QA analysts are educated and trained to have a consumer-oriented perspective (must be perfect) not producer (already perfect).
  2. Researcher in the field of chemistry education and learning (Research and Development) A personnel who are able to make R & D planning from the selection of materials and research methods used; formulate methods to manufacture products at the required scale and/or evaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement; formulate and establish product design and performance objectives, usually in consultation with other functions, including research, marketing and production, as well as contractors, suppliers and customers; responding to customer needs, liaising with raw material suppliers and resolving production issues; carry out testing protocols and procedures, and product evaluation; transfer of new technology across a wide range of product categories; write technical reports and cost estimates, document development work and implement profit-enhancing programs; prepare data to support claims regarding the safety and efficacy of new products (this applies particularly to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors); and overseeing the integration of new products with other commercial areas, including brand development, sales strategy, quality assurance, legal, marketing and manufacturing.
  3. Medical Laboratory Scientist Health professionals who perform chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic, and bacteriological diagnostic analyzes of body fluids such as blood, urine, phlegm, feces, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), peritoneal fluid, pericardial fluid, and synovial fluid, as well as other specimens. Therefore, these medical laboratory experts can work in clinical laboratories in hospitals, doctor's offices, reference laboratories, and biotechnology laboratories.
