The name of Prof. Jampel is included in the State University-Management System of Public Service Board (PTN-BLU) category with the rector of Universitas Sriwijaya, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Anis Saggaff, MSCE., IPU., ASEAN. Eng., and Rector of Universitas Negeri Makassar, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Husain Syam, M.TP., IPU., ASEAN. Eng.

This Academic Leader Award is one of the Ministry of Education and Culture initiatives to inflame and strengthen the implementation of the Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus (MBKM) to produce superior Indonesian human resources with noble character and noble character Pancasila personality. In addition to PTN-BLU, this award is also intended for State Universities with Legal Entities (PTN-BH) and Working Unit State Universities (PTN-Satker).
As a candidate for the award, the Rector of Undiksha stated that this was inseparable from the support of the Undiksha academic community. This achievement is considered a form of representation of improvements carried out jointly within the framework of harmony in implementing various programs that are expected to increase university competitiveness, including the MBKM program. “This is all because of the togetherness and harmony that we have built,” he said, Thursday (24/11/2022).
During his leadership as Rector for two periods, Prof. Jampel is known to be keen on campaigning for “harmony” in performance, especially among the Undiksha academic community. Harmony is a manifestation of the implementation of Tri Hita Karana (Three Causes to Prosperity), which is also the basis for realizing Undiksha’s vision of becoming a leading university in Asia by 2045. “If we are in harmony, we will be able to work well,” he said.
