Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is committed to maintaining harmony as a form of implementing the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. This was welcomed by the Choir Student Activity Unit (UKM). Harmony is not only sought to be instilled within the organization but also in the community outside campus through social service activities (Baksos).
This social service was carried out at the Bali Lamb Orphanage, Tukadmungga Village, Buleleng, on Sunday (17/3/2024). This activity was filled with the delivery of basic food aid and cleaning tools. The orphanage management welcomed this activity positively and expressed appreciation for Undiksha’s care.
On this occasion, the Supervisor I of UKM Undiksha Choir, Ida Ayu Made Dharmayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd. He said that this social service activity was part of an intensive community service program implemented by Undiksha, both by lecturers and student organizations. It is acknowledged that the contribution of Undiksha Choir UKM to orphanages is small, but it is hoped that it will still provide benefits.
In between the activities, a glimpse of Undiksha and the scholarship programs offered were also provided. This social service activity is also combined with vocal training. The orphanage children who participated were enthusiastically welcomed and also showed off their talents. (hms)
