Thursday (10/01), the judge from PERCASI Buleleng I Ketut Wisnawa gave the rules and regulations which took place in the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Sports and Health. Every participant in the competition is not allowed to bring a cell phone or communication device while the chess game is taking place. If any participant is caught using a cell phone or using a communication device, they will be disqualified by the jury.
The Chess Championship was attended by 8 Faculties in Undiksha, namely FE, FBS, FMIPA, FOK, FTK, FIP, FHIS, and FK. Each faculty issued 6 participants to take part in the chess competition, of which 3 were boys and 3 were girls. A chess match lasts for 5 rounds (5 matches). Each match lasts 20 minutes.
The chess competition took place calmly and with full concentration so that the only sound that could be heard was the sound of the chess pieces moving. The first and second rounds still use a random system, entering the third round, the game is starting to get tense because the participants are pitted against the winner against the winner and the loser against the loser.
Entering the fifth round, namely the last round of the game, it becomes even more tense, where the last round is the round to determine who will win. “I am very happy to take part in this competition, with this competition I can gain experience and make new friends. In this game, we are encouraged to get to know each other’s opponents. “This activity can also produce potential Undiksha chess athletes who are able to compete at national and international levels,” said chess competition participant Oky Yunantara.” The following are the results of the 26th Anniversary Chess Championship
