Singaraja- The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is holding a National Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) in 2020. This activity in collaboration with the Student Executive Board is a series of HISPISI activities that took place virtually, Monday (9/11/2020).
Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., explained that this competition was titled “Building a Virtual Generation in the New Normal Era” with sub-themes (1) Digital Literacy Education for Millennials; (2) Legal Literacy for Millennials in the New Normal Era; (3) Strengthening Cultural Capital in Society in the New Normal Era; (4) Countermeasures against Cyber Crime in the New Normal Era; (5) Increasing Global Political Awareness in the New Normal Era; and (6) Development of Digital-Based Creative Content in the New Normal Era. “This competition is to develop students’ scientific writing in the form of expressing creative ideas or ideas that are original, visionary, and implementable,” he explained.
Delivered further, the competition with coordinator Wayan Putrayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd was attended by 14 teams from a number of universities. Based on the assessment of the jury consisting of Drs. Nasution, M. Hum., M. Ed., Ph. D., I Putu Ananda Citra, S.Pd., M.Sc., Si Ngurah Ardhya, S.H., M.H. It was stated that 6 teams entered as finalists.
In this competition, the first winner was won by the Undiksha team consisting of Ivanka Angelina Dheyanita Prasada, Putu Sulistyawati, and Luh Ayu Martasari. This team presented their work entitled “Measuring Chronicle of Cendek Social Philanthropy in Multicultural Communities in West Bali as an Effort to Build a Tolerant Civilization of the Indonesian Nation”, with the acquisition of 83.18 points.
The second winner was won by a team from the Bandung Institute of Technology consisting of Aliyya Ilma Shafani, Faiq Yahya Hidayah, and M. Fadhil Al Ansyar. This team presented their work “Implementation of the Digdaya Application as a Virtual Generation Effort in Realizing the Preservation of Indonesian Culture”, with the acquisition of points: 82.52. While the third place was won by the Undiksha team which consisted of Sella Marsellena Mercury, Ketut Wisnu Sastrawan, and Putu Pipit Pricellia Eka Putri. This team presented their work “Digital-Based Legal Literacy Revitalization Through the Popular Media TikTok in the New Normal Era”, with the acquisition of 81.8 points. “Hopefully this competition can be an encouragement for students to take part in other competitions,” said Sudika Mangku.
