Achievements and Milestones
Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) as one of the prestigious universities in Bali always strives to be able to immediately realize its vision. Undiksha’s efforts were paid off by making various achievements in the process of measuring the university performance. Various achievements, competition, and grants were also earned by the Undiksha’s academic community. All of these achievements cannot be separated from the hard work and smart work of the entire Undiksha academic community. This is a tangible manifestation of the commitment of all civitas in working together to realize Undiksha’s vision. Ranks and awards are not the main goal for Undiksha, but the most important thing is how the process goes through to always improve the quality of joint performance. Here are some of Undiksha’s achievements:
Excellent (A) Accredited University BAN-PT
The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), on Thursday (21/2) officially issued the results of the accreditation of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha with A (excellent) status . The encouraging decision for the entire academic community is stated in the BAN-PT decision No.26/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/II/2019. The declaration of accreditation was carried out in 2016 and has become a commitment from the academic community. The achievement is the proof of an increase in the achievements and performance in all elements of the university. Institutions that were previously only accredited with B, can increase their accreditation to A this year.
Excellent (A) Accredited Library by the National Library
Based on the evaluation by the Library Accreditation Institute, based on Certificate Number: 00061/LAP.PT/X.2018 it was determined that the Undiksha Library earned the A (excellent) Accreditation. The certificate is valid from October 15, 2018 to October 15, 2023.
One of the 20 Best Universities in Indonesia Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) Versio
One of Undiksha’s international recognitions was given by the international institution Scimago. Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) is a rating agency that combines three different indicators, namely research performance (weighted 50 percent), innovation outcomes (weighted 30 percent), and social impact (20 percent weight) as measured by web visibility. For research performance, SIR’s assessment includes the number of journals, international collaborations, open access, and the number of quality publications that have received many public citations. For innovation measurement, the assessment includes the number of publications cited in patents and the number of patent applications generated. Meanwhile, social impact assessment is measured by the number of publication mentions through various social media platforms as well as the number of visits to websites or institutional sites.
Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha is ranked third (innovation ranking) and overall ranked eleventh in the Research and Innovation Ranking based on data released by the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR). The results of the top university rankings, according to The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR), were released last Thursday (22/4/2021). Based on the SIR results, Undiksha won the 50th Overall percentile, 21st Research percentile, 82nd Innovation percentile and 93rd Societal percentile. With this number, Undiksha is in the 11th position in Indonesia and 521st in the world.
Webometrics is a web ranking of universities in the world, in July 2021 Undiksha was ranked 56th in Indonesia . While at the World level , it is ranked 4580.
4ICU (4 International Colleges & Universities)
4ICU is a search engine and directory that performs an assessment based on the popularity of websites owned by 11,307 universities worldwide that have been accredited and spread over 200 countries. The assessment components used by 4ICU are Google Page Rank, Alexa Traffic Rank, and Majestic SEO (Referring Domain, Citation Flow, Citation Trust). Based on the world university website ranking agency 4ICU in 2021 Undiksha is ranked as the 66th in the Top Universities rank in Indonesia.
Public Information Disclosure (KIP)
In terms of public information disclosure, Undiksha has been awarded the Public Information Disclosure (KIP) award by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia.
Top Ten Awards for Achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities
In order to measure the main performance of higher education institutions to realize adaptive higher education based on more concrete outputs, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has carried out the measurement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of State Universities. in 2020/2021 at the same time establishing the PTN IKU Achievement Award which is a new performance measurement tool for universities which are assessed based on 8 (eight) indicators.
In the IKU PTN-BLU assessment, Undiksha was ranked 7th out of 33 Public Service Agency Public Universities (PTN-BLU) for 2020/2021 while receiving an award for the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) with a total of 55 achievement points, growth points 1066. In addition, Undiksha also managed to get an admirable achievement in the form of an IKU award for excellence in IKU 5, namely the number of research outputs and community service carried out by lecturers who received international recognition or were applied by the community. Based on this KPI-based performance achievement, Undiksha received a BOPTN incentive of 4 billion Rupiah.
Unqualified Opinion Award (WTP)
Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the 2019 financial statements from the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK-RI). This opinion is obtained for the fourth time in a row since 2016. Unqualified Opinion (WTP) or unqualified opinion : Stating that the financial statements of the audited entity present fairly in all material respects, the financial position, results of operations and cash flows of the entity. in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in Indonesia.
The Big Three of the Student Rating Management Information System (SIMKATMAWA) Second League
Undiksha managed to move up the rankings in the Student Rating Management Information System (SIMKATMAWA) in 2021. This excellent accredited university is ranked 13th nationally or up ten levels from the previous one which was ranked 23. Undiksha also obtained a very proud achievement by being ranked 3rd in the Second League or a group of universities with 5000 to 18,000 active students.
LPTK Cup X UNJ 2021
Undiksha also obtained achievements in the field of sports, such as at the LPTK (Institution for Educational Personnel) Cup X UNJ 2021 in the tennis sport. In this prestigious sports competition, Undiksha managed to win in the executive category B. While in the achievement team class, Undiksha was perched as Runner Up. This proud achievement in the LPTK Cup cannot be separated from the hard work and cohesiveness of the Undiksha tennis team and the support of the entire Undiksha community.
Earned Various Ministry Grants
Various grants with competition schemes issued by the ministry aim to encourage, facilitate, and accelerate higher education institutions in accelerating the policies of the Freedom to Learn-Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) programme and achieving Higher Education Main Work Indicators (IKU). One of the most prestigious competition grants that Undiksha has won is the Merdeka Campus Competition Program Grant (PK-KM). This grant is an open competition program with a tiered system of selection. After going through a rigorous selection stage starting with administrative evaluation, evaluating the feasibility and quality of the proposal, up to the online visitation stage, Undiksha managed to win this PK-KM grant through the Elementary School Teacher Education S1 Study Program and the Informatics Engineering Education S1 Study Program with a total grant of approx. IDR 4.3 Billion.
In addition to the PK-KM grants, Undiksha has also obtained various grants, including:
- Grants for the Development and Implementation of Digital Learning Innovations (IPD) obtained by the Bachelor of Physics Education Study Program, Bachelor of Information Engineering Education, and Bachelor of Educational Technology.
- Digital Module Innovation Development (IMD) grant obtained by the Undergraduate Program in Physical Education, Health, and Recreation.
- Grants for Curriculum Cooperation and the Implementation of Independent Learning – Merdeka Campus were obtained by the Accounting Study Program, Japanese Language Education Bachelor Degree, Biology Education Bachelor Degree, Sports Coaching Education Bachelor Degree, and Mechanical Engineering Education Bachelor Degree Program.
- Model Center of Excellence (CoE) grant obtained by the Mathematics Education Undergraduate Study Program
- Digital Module Grant for Vocational Education obtained by the Informatics Management D3 Study Program and Electronic Engineering D3 Study Program
- Indonesian Student Micro Credential Program (KMMI) Grant
- International Credit Transfer (ICT) Program Grant, in collaboration with ITC and MMSU
