The Faculty of Education (FIP) is a part of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). This faculty has Counseling Guidance, PGSD, Educational Technology, and PGPAUD Study Programs. All of them offer a bachelor’s degree. It has produced many graduates. Many people have been recruited to become teaching staff, both at the school and college level. Monday (17/12/2018), this faculty received a celebration from the academic community, commemorating its 56th year. Located at the Gde Manik Arts Building, Singaraja City. This moment was sweetened by performances of various arts by students. Quite lively, giving rise to family knitting.
Dean of FIP, Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Suarni, M.S., said that in the midst of the age of the faculty which has exceeded half a century, the development of academic and non-academic abilities needs to be carried out more optimally. This includes efforts to produce graduates who are increasingly qualified and resilient in facing increasingly fierce competition. “This moment needs to be used as a medium for evaluating previous trips. “In the future, it must be better,” she said.
She also said that in building the faculty in a better direction, there needs to be a joint commitment between study programs. Everyone must unite to carry out the vision and mission that has been set. “The sense of unity needs to be maintained. “Including students,” she added. (hms)
