Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in 2021 was able to make positive and proud performance achievements. This consists of achievements and achievements of Key Performance Indicators (IKU). This achievement received appreciation from the Supervisory Board (Denwas) in a coordination meeting, Saturday (16/10/2021).
At the meeting that took place at the Puri Saron Hotel, Buleleng, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd explained that Undiksha continues to strive to improve quality so that it can be more competitive, both nationally and internationally. Through the hard work of the entire academic community, the university has been able to achieve the target of most KPIs. This achievement places Undiksha in 7th place out of 33 Public Service Agency State Universities (PTN-BLU) for 2020/2021. In addition, in the PTN-BLU IKU excellence award category, Undiksha was ranked 5th. “This achievement is due to the support of all parties, both leaders, lecturers, and also Denwas,” he explained.
Meanwhile, with regard to achievements, he continued, quite a lot were inscribed by students, both nationally and internationally. A number of achievements were made related to innovations initiated by students and lecturers. In addition, there were also nine Undiksha Teams that successfully passed and were funded by PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk’s Innovillage Program in collaboration with Telkom University, the Indonesian Rectors Forum, APERTI BUMN, and the Indonesia Career Center Network (ICCN). “The achievements are extraordinary. This is also our pride at Undiksha,” he said.
Apart from these two things, in order to improve the quality of education services, Undiksha is also boosting development, which in 2021 will be carried out for the Integrated Health Laboratory with funding sources from State Sharia Securities (SBSN) as well as the construction of an integrated research laboratory with funding sources from Undiksha and sharing together Buleleng Regency Government.
As a tertiary institution that has a vision of “Becoming an Excellent University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045”, Undiksha also continues to boost study program accreditation. Based on the latest data, there are already 23 study programs with superior accreditation from the 64 study programs they have. Apart from that, Undiksha also proposed 21 study programs spread across faculties and postgraduates for international accreditation. Undiksha’s steps to improve quality continue. Strengthening the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education continues to be carried out, as well as accreditation and improving the quality of human resources. This is one strategy to increase the number of the student body.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Undiksha Supervisory Board, Moch. Wiwin Darwina, S.E., M.Sc., gave his appreciation for Undiksha’s performance achievements. “His achievements were extraordinary and many other achievements were also achieved by Undiksha,” he said. Even so, he still encouraged Undiksha to continue to increase the number of professors and excellent accredited study programs that could reach more than 50 percent. “So that the ministry’s policy for BLU tertiary institutions directed at PTN-BH will be well achieved, including the number of students of more than 25,000 people. The international accreditation is also currently being proposed, there are 21 of them. This is truly extraordinary that this can be achieved so well. I think that is the goal of all levels of leadership, from the Chancellor down,” he said.
This coordination meeting was also attended by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., Head of General Affairs and Finance Bureau, Ni.Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., Head of AKPK Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., Head of SPI, and chief of expert staff. After the meeting, it was followed by a review of the construction of an integrated health laboratory. (hms)
