Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) welcomed a delegation from Chirchik State Pedagogical University, Uzbekistan, to explore potential academic collaborations aimed at enhancing education quality.
The visit was formally received by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., accompanied by Head of the Bureau of Planning and Cooperation, Prof. Dr., Komang Seteman, S.Si., M.T. In his address, Prof. Rasben Dantes highlighted Undiksha;s commitment to global engagement through its “Internalization at Home” program, which focuses on strengthening partnerships with international universities to elevate education quality and global competitiveness.
“We hope this collaboration will create opportunities for Undiksha students to pursue further education, teaching practicums, or other academic programs in Uzbekistan. Faculty exchange is also a key agenda to enhance the competencies of educators from both institutions,” he stated. This collaboration also encompasses joint research initiatives, expected to enrich academic discourse and contribute to educational advancement at both universities.
Chirchik State Pedagogical University offers study programs that align with Undiksha’s academic focus, particularly in educational media, an area of growing interest for students in both Indonesia and Uzbekistan. This alignment presents a strategic opportunity for student and faculty exchange programs, fostering new innovations in teaching methodologies.
Expressing optimism about the partnership, Prof. Rasben Dantes emphasized that this initiative would strengthen academic and cultural ties between Indonesia and Uzbekistan. He also hoped for the smooth implementation of the collaborative plans, ensuring that both institutions can enhance their academic quality, competitiveness, and global recognition.
