Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) continues to strengthen synergies with various parties to improve service quality and student welfare. This time, Undiksha established a strategic collaboration with Bank BPD Bali which was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and the submission of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the form of scholarships for students, Friday (14/2/2025).
The signing of this cooperation was carried out directly by Undiksha Rector, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd, and President Director of Bank BPD Bali, I Nyoman Sudharma, SH., MH. The event was also attended by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Buleleng, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd, as well as the leadership of both institutions.
This PKS includes the integration of a payment application system for students’ Single Tuition Fees (UKT), which is expected to increase efficiency and convenience in the campus financial administration process. In his opening speech, Undiksha Rector, Prof. Lasmawan, expressed his appreciation for this cooperation and hoped that it could provide benefits for both parties, especially in terms of optimizing campus financial services.
In addition, Prof. Lasmawan also gave special appreciation to the distribution of CSR Scholarships from Bank BPD Bali, which is intended to help Undiksha students who face economic constraints in completing their studies. “Undiksha students who are have financial problems. This scholarship assistance is very meaningful in supporting the continuation of their education,” he said.
Bank BPD Bali President Director, I Nyoman Sudharma emphasized that the distribution of CSR Scholarships is part of Bank BPD Bali’s commitment to support the development of Indonesia’s human resources through the higher education sector. “We hope that this scholarship can be utilized well by the recipient students and become a motivation for them to continue to do their best,” he said.
Regarding the implementation of the Payment System, he who was accompanied by the Head of Bank BPD Singaraja Branch, I Komang Sandhyana Kartika, SE, MM, explained that this system will further facilitate access to payment services for students. “We want to make it easy for Undiksha students to make payment transactions, so they can focus more on education without being burdened with complicated administrative processes,” he said.
Through this collaboration, Undiksha and Bank BPD Bali show a real commitment in supporting the improvement of the quality of educational services and student welfare. It is hoped that this cooperation can continue to grow to provide more benefits to the academic world and society. (hms)
