Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to finalize preparations for this 2022 international accreditation visitation. One of them is in the field of infrastructure. Monitoring was carried out at the faculties starting with the Faculty of Economics, Wednesday (6/4/2022).
Monitoring is led directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. He was accompanied by the Deputy Chancellors, the Chair of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LPPPM), and the Undiksha Quality Assurance Center. His presence was received directly by the leadership of the Faculty of Economics and its staff.
On this occasion, monitoring was carried out on learning facilities and other supporting facilities that are included as international accreditation requirements. The Chancellor of Undiksha, I Nyoman Jampel, said that he had come directly to the faculty to see in real terms the preparations that had been made to welcome the assessors’ visitation which was scheduled to start next July. “We at the rectorate want to see directly the readiness of each faculty involved in the five clusters or take part in international accreditation,” he said.
Based on the monitoring results, in general, the Faculty of Economics has met the requirements. Even so, they are still asked to make improvements so that later they are truly ready for visitation. “Of course, there is still a small shortage of time for about two months. This needs to be refined further, “he pleaded.
Other faculties are also asked to make the best possible preparations. As previously reported, Undiksha proposed 21 study programs to take part in international accreditation. The study program is divided into five clusters, namely the finance and management cluster, the computer science and informatics cluster, the natural sciences cluster, the basic education and technology cluster, and the language education cluster.
This international accreditation has the spirit and purpose of achieving Undiksha’s vision, namely to Become an Excellent University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045. Apart from that, it is also to fulfill the Main Performance Indicators of Higher Education and increase the number of foreign students in response to the internationalization program at home which has been launched in 2019.
