Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is gearing up for the Celebration of its 32nd Dies Natalis, set to take place in early January 2025. This year’s celebration, themed “Break the Limit” will feature a unique and vibrant lineup for events. Among the highlights is the Archipelago Cultural Performance, showcasing Indonesia’s rich cultural diversity. The event reflects Undiksha’s commitment to inclusivity and its embrace of the “unity in diversity” ethos.
Preparations began with a coordination meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024, led by the Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. During the meeting, Prof. Lasmawan emphasized that Dies Natalis should be celebrated as a joyful occasion that fosters collaboration between academic and student affairs, highlighting the values of togetherness and innovation.
The Archipelago Cultural Performance will be held over a week, featuring student performances representing diverse Indonesian cultures. This initiative not only celebrates Indonesia’s cultural heritage but also strengthens national identity through education. In addition to the cultural showcase, the Dies Natalis will include an innovative exhibition, providing a platform for Undiksha’s academic community to display groundbreaking projects and products. The event will also feature sports exhibitions, further encouraging creativity and showcasing Undiksha’s achievements as the leading institution in North Bali.
Another key event is the scientific oration session, titled “Undiksha Berbagi” (Undiksha Shares), where distinguished lecturers and accomplished students will share their experiences and best practices. Prof. Lasmawan expressed hope that the event would inspire the academic community to actively participate and make the celebration a resounding success.
