Singaraja- The Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha University of Education (FK-Undiksha) is still very young. Steps to create superior and competitive graduates continue to be rolled out. One of them is by preparing curriculum learning tools for the Doctor Profession Study Program curriculum. This was matured through a focused discussion that took place in the Buleleng Hospital Meeting Room, Wednesday (3/11/2021).
This activity involved clinical teaching staff of doctors in the Medical Professional Education Study Program and FK educational staff. This activity is intended to provide understanding and provide guidelines for the preparation and updating of learning tools for the doctor’s profession stage in an orderly and well-organized manner.
Vice Dean III FK Undiksha, Dr. dr. Made Budiawan, S.Ked., M.Kes., AIFO., who opened the activity, explained that learning at the Medical Profession Education stage is a continuation stage after students complete the Bachelor of Medicine stage. This learning process is a continuous stage and is carried out in 2 years or 4 semesters. “In order to support the learning process later, the availability of learning tools is needed so that the process runs well,” he said.
In addition, the preparation and updating of this learning tool included a young doctor’s guidebook, a young doctor’s logbook, and a guide for clinical educators. “This learning device is a learning tool needed in the medical professional education stage,” he explained.
He hopes that through this step, FK Undiksha can produce prospective doctors who are competent in their fields and have competitiveness.
