Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from Palangka Raya University, Tuesday (26/1/2021). The visit was for a comparative study on the strategy for proposing the Public Service Agency’s Financial Management (PK-BLU).
From Palangka Raya University attended by the Director of Asset Development, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Sudyana, M.Sc., accompanied by Secretary Dr. Roby Connect, M.M. His presence was received directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I and Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd.
On this occasion, Sudyana conveyed that increasing the status of the Work Unit (Satker) to PK-BLU had been the target of Palangka Raya University for several years. In order to smooth this out, his party dug up information on Undiksha which was considered to have the same characteristics. “Our presence at Undiksha wants to share what things need to be prepared to become PK-BLU,” he said.
Further explained, his party has taken steps to meet various indicators, one of which is to organize assets. Information obtained from Undiksha will be used as a reference in making improvements. Meanwhile, Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Jampel appreciated this visit. This is considered not only as a medium of hospitality but also as a form of trust in Undiksha. He said that to realize Undiksha as PK-BLU since 2012 and finally approved in 2015, what is needed is not limited to submitting proposals, but also supported by human resources and sources of income. “To become PK-BLU, we must be able to be independent. This needs to be prepared,” he explained.
Vice Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Lasmawan emphasized that there are at least four aspects that must be seriously prepared in proposing to become a PK-BLU, namely, the existing institutional modality, resource strategic plan, business plan, and budget, as well as the expected governance structure after the change has occurred, including the source of financing. In addition, there is also an improvement in asset management as a source of income. “We think Palangka Raya University can make this happen,” he said.
This academic from Bonyoh Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency emphasized that Undiksha as one of the PK-BLU remains ready to share information with Palangka Raya University outside of this short visit. “If there is a need to share outside of this meeting, we are ready. Maybe it can be through virtual or other, “he added. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the UK Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., and the Remuneration Team, Dr. Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E., M.Sc., Ak.(hms)
