Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) received a visit from Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA), Friday (24/2/2023). The presence of this university located in Lampung was in the context of benchmarking the management of guesthouses.
The Area, Safety, and Security Coordinator, Rizky Wahyudi, S.PP., M.Sc., led ITERA’s presence. He and his team were received by the Head of Undiksha’s General and Financial Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., accompanied by the managers of Edutel and student dormitories.
The meeting began in Ganesha Room I, Rectorate Undiksha. The matters discussed were related to the management patterns of the guest houses of each university. This was supported by exposure by the Edutel and dormitory managers.
On this occasion, Rizky Wahyudi assessed that the management of guesthouses at Undiksha was quite good. In addition, it is supported by adequate facilities. He stated that several things could be adopted to be applied at ITERA. “We see it is extraordinary. Things that can be adopted from governance, we can see the facilities applied here, and the application of technology is extraordinary. The land utilization is all one door. Indeed, there are many advantages at Undiksha,” he said.
As universities that are both developing, he hopes that ITERA and Undiksha in the future can establish cooperation to improve quality. “We have similarities. Starting from small. How can we become big together,” he said.
The head of the UK Undiksha Bureau, Yasmiati, appreciated this visit. According to her, through this meeting, both parties can learn about each other’s advantages. “The advantages of ITERA, we can also adopt it to be applied at Undiksha,” she said.
The bureaucrat from Tabanan Regency stated that Undiksha is still improving in institutional governance, specifically related to asset management, which is very important in universities with Public Service Agency status.
ITERA’s visit was also filled with a direct review of Edutel and student dormitories to see related management patterns and facilities more clearly. (hms)
