Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is carrying out the 2021 Computer-Based Joint Selection Entrance Examination for State Universities (UTBK-SBMPTN) batch one, Friday (16/4/2021). The test, which was attended by hundreds of participants, strictly implemented the Covid-19 prevention protocol.
Based on the data, there were 611 registrants for the first batch of exams, which were divided into science, social and public affairs, and mixed tests. Specifically on this Friday, the number of examinees was 183 people which were divided into two sessions, namely morning and afternoon.
The implementation of this exam received attention from the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., accompanied by the Vice Chancellor and Head of Bureau. Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., explained that in this exam, Undiksha prepared nine rooms spread across four locations, namely the Engineering and Vocational Faculty, the Economics Faculty, the Language and Arts Faculty, and the Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit (UPT-TIK).
Exam participants are required to implement health protocols by wearing masks, washing hands, checking body temperature, and maintaining distance. One exam session lasts three hours for science and social sciences, and five hours for mixed. Related to this, Undiksha tries to maintain the comfort of the room through sterilization and ensures that air circulation is always in good condition. In addition, room capacity is also enforced below 50 percent.
The first batch of exams lasted until April 18, 2021. Undiksha will also carry out batch two exams from April 26 to May 2, 2021. Overall, exam applicants at Undiksha reached 2,238 people, not only from the Bali area but also from outside Bali. It is hoped that the implementation of this exam will continue to run well and receive support from the community. (hms)
