Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is again conducting the 2022 Computer-Based Writing Examination Joint Selection for State University Entrance (UTBK-SBMPTN). The first exam was held on Tuesday (17/5/2022) while still implementing strict health protocols.
This exam was carried out in two waves. First, from 17 to 23 May 2022, and the second batch on 28 May 2022. There were 2,142 participants in the total exam, consisting of 549 people in science and technology, 1,426 in social relations, and 167 mixtures. These participants were not only from Bali but also from a number of other areas in Bali. “For participants, indeed most of them came from Bali,” explained Undiksha’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I.
It was explained further, in this exam Undiksha was only the executor. In a day, there are two sessions, namely morning and afternoon. There are eight rooms prepared, spread across the Language and Arts Faculty, Engineering, and Vocational Faculty, Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit, and the Faculty of Economics. Facing this annual exam, Undiksha made maximum preparations, both in terms of infrastructure and supervisors and committees on duty. “For UTBK-SBMPTN, the organizer is LTMPT. We at Undiksha are only executors, preparing infrastructure and supervisory facilities,” he said.
Supervision of exams is carried out strictly. There are a number of requirements that must be met by participants. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is slumping, this test also prioritizes health protocols. “Participants must check their body temperature, wash their hands, and must wear a mask. For the exam room, keeping your distance is also taken into account, “he said. In the next exam, it is expected to continue to receive support from the participants so that it runs smoothly. This is also the hope of the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd.
Based on the information quoted from the LTMPT page, the results of this exam will be announced on June 23, 2022. The student admission quota through the UTBK-SBMPTN is 40 percent of the university’s capacity. For prospective students who have not been able to take part in this selection, Undiksha is still opening registration through the Joint Entrance Selection for the Independent Computer-Based Test (SMBJM-CBT) from 13 May – 24 June 2022.
