Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) carried out a Knowledge Test (UP) for Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students in position 2 of 2024 on March 9 and 10 2024 with 2,875 participants.
The participants consisted of 48 fields of study. Not all of them took part in the PPG program at Undiksha, but also at other universities. This time the UP will still be implemented on a domicile basis, that is, participants take the exam from their respective residences or other places that are accessible to the Internet network. The exam is divided into two sessions per day.
The implementation of this exam is strict. Supervisors carry out detailed verification of participants, including ensuring that the participant’s exam location is conducive and free from attempts to cheat.
PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd said that Undiksha is one of 12 Educational Personnel Education Institutions (LPTK) which is trusted to implement domicile-based UP PPG. “Of the 170 LPTKs administering PPG, only 12 LPTKs were assigned to implement UP. “One of them is Undiksha,” he said.
Undiksha already has quite a long experience as a UP PPG implementer. However, preparations by the committee and supervisors are still being carried out. It was further stated that the smoothness of this exam was also greatly influenced by the participants, especially in terms of understanding and mastery of information technology.
Before the UP implementation, on Friday (8/3/2024), Undiksha gave a briefing to the committee and supervisors. This activity was attended by Supervisors and a team from the Ministry of Education and Research and Technology’s Educational Testing Management Center (BPPP). Strict supervision of participants is something that is under pressure. It is hoped that the exam will run smoothly and be free from cheating. (hms)
