Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from the University of Lampung (Unila), Thursday (30/6/2022). This visit is in order to share governance of the field of planning and public relations.
The Unila delegation was led by the Head of the Planning and Public Relations Bureau, Budi Sutomo S.Sc., M.Sc. His presence was received by the Head of Undiksha’s Academic, Planning, Student Affairs and Cooperation (AKPK) Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., accompanied by functional officials and related staff.
On this occasion, Budi Sutomo said that the choice of Undiksha as the destination of the visit could not be separated from the achievements in a number of fields, especially planning, and finance. As of 2021, the 2021 Budget Performance Value (NKA) is the first-best in the Public Service Agency category and the third-best in the Government Performance Accountability System (SAKIP). This achievement is inseparable from the planning system. “We view Undiksha as having very good achievements at the national level in several criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Culture, such as the management of SAKIP,” he said.
From a public relations perspective, he shared information management and publication. According to him, there are a number of things that can be adopted, such as patterns of reporting in the media and information services to leaders. He hopes that the collaboration between Unila and Undiksha can continue in the context of increasing quality together.
Meanwhile, the Head of AKPK Undiksha Bureau, I Made Yasa positively welcomed this visit. According to him, through this meeting, Undiksha could also learn from Unila’s strengths. “We are certainly proud to be visited. This means that it is seen as having advantages. But Unila also has its advantages. We certainly want to learn too, “he said.
What Undiksha can adopt, continued Yasa, is the strategy and pattern of new student recruitment. This is because Unila, which also has the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU), has a much larger number of students. “We learn this. What’s the strategy? Currently, Undiksha students are still half less than Unila,” he concluded. (hms)
