Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is celebrating its XXXI Anniversary in January 2024. This celebration is filled with a series of events that ignite a lively atmosphere. Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd stated that this momentum was happiness for Undiksha. Therefore, it must be filled with optimizing one’s potential.
At the age of 31, like humans, is the golden age. There should be many things, many achievements that can be done and achieved by the academic community. Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan realizes that Undiksha has human resources with diverse characteristics. However, that is no reason not to move forward. There is one key that the academic community must remember, namely togetherness. “As long as togetherness exists in the deepest space of our hearts, within the limitations of nature that we can manage, but with honesty and sincerity, there is nothing that we cannot possibly make happen,” he said.
The Chancellor, who previously served as Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs at Undiksha, also invited the academic community to continue what was left behind by previous leaders who had led Undiksha to achieve various proud achievements. Future achievements need to continue through optimizing one’s potential. “By carrying the theme Be Innovative, Harmony in Action, Leading with Passion, let’s make Undiksha more innovative and achieve achievements in the future,” he said.
Through this opportunity, Undiksha’s transformation into a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH) was also emphasized. One of the obligations or requirements of PTN BH is to increase the student body. To make this happen, it is hoped that it will get support from the entire academic community. (hms)
