Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) warmly welcomed a study visit from SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, East Java, on Thursday, January 30, 2025. This visit was part of a comparative study program aimed at introducing Undiksha to the students and providing insights into higher education options. The delegation, led by the Head of SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, Agung Ismiharto, S.Kom., M.Pd., was received by the Head of Academic and Student Affairs Bureau Undiksha, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., accompanied by the Undiksha Socialization Team, represented by Dr. I Gede Suwiwa, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In his welcoming remarks, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., provides an overview of the history and development of Undiksha, highlighting that the university currently offers 77 study programs for prospective students. As one of the largest state universities in North Bali, Undiksha has achieved numerous academic accomplishments and holds an A accreditation. He also introduced Undiksha’s flagship programs, including the Fast Track program, and expressed hope that this visit would provide valuable insights for SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut students, encouraging them to consider Undiksha as one of their top choices for higher education.
The Head of SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut, Agung Ismiharto, S.Kom., M.Pd., expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome extended by Undiksha. He emphasized that the purpose of this visit was to gather comprehensive information about Undiksha as a leading university in Bali. The participating students, currently in their eleventh grade, are exploring their options for further studies after graduation. He hoped that this visit would inspire students to pursue higher education and expand their knowledge of study opportunities in Bali, especially with the presence of the Faculty of Medicine in Undiksha.
Additionally, Agung Ismiharto highlighted the importance of collaboration between SMA Negeri 1 Ngunut and Undiksha in various areas. He expressed hope that this visit would serve as the foundation for future synergies in education, training, and human resource development. Furthermore, he underscored that access to broader information would provide students with greater opportunities to achieve quality education.
