Singaraja– Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) supports the government in organizing digital population identity. The support is shown by registration for lecturers and employees Monday (6/2/2023). This activity is in collaboration with Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Disdukcapil) of Buleleng Regency.
This digital population identity registration is centred at Undiksha Auditorium. The implementation is divided into several groups, which will be held until February 8, 2023. This activity is a form of support for implementing the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72 of 2022 concerning Standards and Specifications for Hardware, Software, and Electronic Identity Card Stamps and the Implementation of Digital Population Identity.
Digital Population Identity contains electronic information to represent population documents and feedback data that displays personal data as the identity of the person concerned. Population documents that can be accessed through this application include identity cards and family cards. Meanwhile, the feedback data that can be accessed are Vaccine Card, Tax ID Number, Vehicle Ownership, BKN Personnel Data and Permanent Voters List.
Head of the General and Financial Bureau Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., who was present in the registration activity, said that as one of the academic institutions, Undiksha supports the acceleration of this digital population data collection. According to him, this digital identity is essential to facilitate tasks and functions in administrative activities. “So if the data is needed, we have no problem because now everything is digital. No need for manuals to expedite their respective tasks and functions,” he said.
Digital identity registration will also target all Undiksha students with Buleleng ID cards, and the schedule will be determined after registration for lecturers and employees is completed. (hms)
