The assistance was distributed to residents with middle to lower economic status. Some are also elderly. Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd said that in the midst of this pandemic, the mutual cooperation movement really needs to be carried out as an effort to ease the burden on society. “This pandemic has had an impact on various sectors, including the people’s economy. We from Undiksha are here and trying to lighten the burden,” he explained accompanied by staff.
He further conveyed, the distribution of basic food assistance which also synergizes with Kodim 1609/Buleleng is an effort to support public health so that it has resistance to Covid-19 attacks. This is also supported by the socialization of clean and healthy living. “To prevent the transmission of Covid-19, it is not enough for us to protect ourselves, but also others,” he said.
