At Shunan University, Prof. Lasmawan and the Undiksha delegation were welcomed by the President of Shunan University, Prof. Takata, along with the university leadership. Also in attendance was the Manager of Saikyo Bank Japan, a strategic partner of Shunan University. During the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance research collaboration, launch an international credit transfer program, and establish a double degree initiative, all aimed at improving educational quality and expanding student access to international education programs.
“We are very enthusiastic about this agreement because it opens up greater opportunities for students and academic staff to participate in collaborative research and also enrich their study experiences globally,” stated Prof. Lasmawan.
The Manager of Saikyo Bank also reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting this cooperation through its active role as an industry partner. This support is intended to strengthen community service activities and facilitate the absorption of graduates from both universities into the industry workforce, particularly in Japan.
In addition to visiting Shunan University, Prof. Lasmawan and the team also visited Kouie Elementary School in Hiroshima City. This visit was aimed at initiating an observation program and teaching practice for Undiksa’s education students.
