Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education again received a visit from the Internal Oversight Unit (SPI) of Manado State University, Wednesday (27/7/2022). The visit was in the framework of sharing about the technical control and supervision of human resources, financial management, and state property (BMN) in tertiary institutions.
The presence of SPI Unima was led directly by the Chairman, Prof. Dr. Herry Sumual, M.Sc. The delegation was received by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Undiksha Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd. He was accompanied by the Head of SPI Undiksha, I Wayan Krisna Eka Putra, S.Pd., M.Eng., and his staff.
On this occasion, the Head of Unima’s SPI, Herry Sumual said that benchmarking to Undiksha was a win-win for changing the status of Unima from a work unit to the Public Service Agency (BLU). He considered that Undiksha, which previously held the status of BLU, had made extraordinary achievements in institutional governance, especially in the financial sector. This achievement is considered inseparable from the good performance of SPI. He hopes that through this benchmarking, information or knowledge can be obtained that can be used to support better performance.
Undiksha Deputy Chancellor, I Wayan Suastra expressed his appreciation for this visit. He hopes that Unima and Undiksha can share useful experiences and insights to improve the quality of SPI governance. He conveyed, SPI has a strategic role in the sustainability of institutional governance.
Apart from being related to SPI, previously Unima was also banned from Undiksha related to the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP). There was also a visit which at the same time signed a collaboration on the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. (hms)
