Singaraja– Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from
Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Denpasar, Zhu Xinglong and his staff, Tuesday (12/12/2023). One of the purposes of this visit was to hand over assistance for learning facilities.
This visit was received by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation at Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I together with the Head of the Buleleng Education, Youth and Sports Service, I Made Astika, M.M, and the staff of the Balingkang Confucius Institute Undiksha.
The assistance distributed by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Denpasar was in the form of goods worth IDR 100 million which the Head of the Buleleng Education and Youth Department symbolically received. These items are to support learning, especially learning the Chinese language and culture.
Undiksha used the Laboratory school as a pilot study in Buleleng Regency. Apart from handing over aid, this opportunity was also used to visit the Balingkang Confucius Institute which provides Chinese language and culture learning services to the Undiksha community and the general public.
Undiksha Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rasben Dantes expressed his appreciation to the Chinese consulate general in Denpasar for its attention to developing education in Bali, especially in Buleleng Regency. It is hoped that this collaboration can make a positive contribution and contribute to improving the quality of Human Resources (HR).
For your information, the establishment of the Balingkang Confucius Institute at Undiksha is a collaborative link between Undiksha and Xinyang Normal University. The institute will teach Mandarin to increase people’s understanding of the Chinese language and culture and facilitate knowledge and cultural exchanges between the two parties. (hms)
