Ganesha University of Education is strengthening preparations for Higher Education Re-Accreditation from B to A. It is targeted that the visitation from the center will take place in December 2018. This was confirmed by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., in a meeting with related elements in the Ganesha II Room of the Rectorate, on Thursday (29/11/2018).
The Chancellor from Badung Regency said that preparations must be carried out carefully. Starting from the vision, and mission of the university, civil service, governance and cooperation, finance, and infrastructure. This also includes students and Human Resources. Apart from that, there is also the implementation of education, including the curriculum contained therein, and the results of research and community service. “This must be prepared carefully,” he stressed, accompanied by Deputy Chancellor I, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Sc., and Vice Rector III, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes.
To achieve A accreditation, the entire academic community is asked to have the same commitment. It is also hoped that the same thing will happen in realizing Undiksha’s vision, to become a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. “This requires joint commitment. “I also want Undiksha’s vision to be realized before that,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector I, Ida Bagus Arnyana stated that ahead of the visitation, communication between faculties and other sections would continue to be intensified. “Of course, the closer the visitation gets, the more intensive the communication will be,” he added. Especially for study programs that have received A accreditation, the largest university in North Bali provides rewards. It is also hoped that the experience during the visitation can be transmitted to other faculties and study programs. (hms)
