Singaraja– Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) not only provides Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKNT) to students but also supervisors. Provisions were given in person, Wednesday (14/6/2023).
Undiksha prepared 52 supervisors according to the number of groups and target villages. The debriefing was filled with directions from the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. He who was accompanied by the Chairman of LPPM, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes conveyed that this KKNT is a new program as a form of implementation of the MBKM Policy. Through this program, students who are present in the community are expected to be able to support the acceleration of development and be able to provide solutions to handling existing problems. Given the very important essence of the program, the Supervisors are asked to be really serious in guiding students and communicate intensely with students to ensure that the program runs well and as expected. Another thing emphasized is that the KKNT program carries the university’s name, so students must create and maintain a good image. It is important to always emphasize this to supervisors. Regarding the implementation of guidance, the lecturers were also asked to go directly to the village, not online.
This KKNT was attended by 1,312 students whose implementation was centered in Bangli Regency which is spread over 52 villages. Students will be deployed from July 10 to August 20, 2023. For about five weeks, students carry out a number of programs, consisting of mandatory group programs on disaster response; group choice programs consisting of village institutional/HR management programs, resource-based waste management, environmental sanitation and health, tourism development, conservation or socio-cultural strengthening, economy, and entrepreneurship. In addition, there is an individual program in the form of foster families. (hms)
