Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a guest lecture on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. This event, which took place in the Faculty of Medicine Seminar Room, featured Director of iMBA College of Management, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) Taiwan, Prof. Dr. Jau Rong Chen (Prof. Kelly), as the guest speaker.
The lecture discussed the topic “The Role of Social Entrepreneurship on the Circular Economy and Fast Track Program 3+2.” The Vice Rector of Undiksha for Academic and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., explained that since 2019, Undiksha has been collaborating with MCUT Taiwan to implement the fast track 3+2 program. This program allows students to complete their studies in 5 years, earning 2 degrees: a bachelor’s degree after 3 years at Undiksha and a master’s degree after 2 years at MCUT. Prof. Rasben also noted that several programs have already participated in this Fast Track Program, with the majority choosing the Master of Business and Administration study program. Through this guest lecture, it is hoped that students and study programs can further strengthen their understanding of the Fast Track Program.
Additionally, Undiksha aims to become a home for international students, enabling Undiksha students to communicate and interact directly with international students from other countries. Through the Fast Track program, Undiksha is expected to encourage and enhance the capabilities of all students.
In addition to MCUT, Prof. Rasben Dantes hopes that the Fast Track Program can establish relationships and collaborations with other universities abroad, such as Japan, France, and other countries. This guest lecture also included 9 students of Fast Track MCUT Batch 3, who also shared testimonials and impressions of their experiences studying at MCUT.
