Singaraja- The introduction to Campus Life event for New Students (PKKMB) Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), held on the first day, Thursday, August 15, 2024, included a session on national insight. The session covered an understanding of Pancasila as the State Foundation or national ideology, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, which was delivered by the Assistant Supervisor of the Bali Provincial Attorney General’s Office, Susilo, S.H.
The socialization began with a collective singing of the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika song as an introduction to the material related to fostering peace and coexistence among different ethnic groups, religions, races, and ethnicities in Indonesia.
Susilo emphasized to Undiksha’s “Ganesha Muda” the importance of strengthening national insight, which can be developed through intellectual, conscientious, or spiritual, and emotional education. He also encouraged new students to have a success-oriented mindset by carefully selecting the content they consume and the company they keep.. Additionally, he advised students to compare and contrast Pancasila, Communism, and Liberalism in life, and to be intelligent and unprovoked individuals.
Furthermore, he shared tips for achieving success through the BHV (Belief, Habitual, Value) approach. “Belief” means having confidence in oneself and one’s abilities. “Habitual” refers to starting and maintaining good habits. “Value” signifies doing something meaningful or valuable. Success will be achieved gradually with full consistency.
