Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has launched an Integrity Zone-Area Free from Corruption (ZI-WBK) for all faculties and postgraduates. The launch was carried out simultaneously and coupled with a public lecture “Strengthening the Higher Education Supervision System” by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., M.H, Thursday (21/9/2023)
On this occasion, the signing of the declaration was not only carried out by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. But also by a number of witnesses from relevant stakeholders, including Inspector General Chatarina Muliana.
Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Lasmawan said that the launch of ZI-WBK was a manifestation of bureaucratic reform and Undiksha’s efforts to become an accountable and transparent public body. “Yesterday we made one of the faculties a…pilot project” So today we will launch a plan for all faculties, and postgraduates to implement, make ZI-WBK happen, and oversee us to make this institution better,” he said.
The main objective in developing ZI-WBK is to prevent corruption, collusion, and nepotism and improve the quality of public services. In its implementation, this is realized by continuously increasing performance accountability, drawing up performance contracts holding outreach on anti-gratification, and overcoming corruption. In ZI towards WBK there are six aspects of development, namely Change Management, Management Arrangement, HR Management System Arrangement, Strengthening Accountability, Strengthening Supervision, and Improving the Quality of Public Services. This was emphasized by the Inspector General, Chatarina Muliana. “So, together we will monitor how innovation is carried out, the accountability of institutional governance, we can really feel the transparency. “Let’s guard it together,” he said.
