Singaraja- Students who receive the Indonesian Smart College Card (KIPK) Undiksha are encouraged to excel. This was conveyed by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes when opening a series of healthy walks for the opening of the XIth anniversary of Forkom KIPK Undiksha, on Sunday (3/3/2024).
He expressed his appreciation for the existence of the Forkom KIP Kuliah organization in Undiksha. It is hoped that in the future this organization can continue to provide benefits and contributions in both academic and non-academic fields at Undiksha.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ketut Sudiana also invited the KIP Kuliah recipient students to carry out their self-dharma as students, namely by taking responsibility for the scholarships they have received by being able to complete their studies appropriately and with good grades. If that doesn’t happen, then the College KIP for Undiksha allocation could be revised because it is considered not on target. Meanwhile, the long-term responsibility is that after graduating from college, you can become a useful and responsible person and provide good achievements. “KIP Lecture Scholarships are intended for people who are economically disadvantaged but have good academic achievements, so please take responsibility for them properly,” he stressed.
He added that the ultimate goal of the KIPK program is to improve the quality of human resources to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.
Apart from opening the Forkom KIPK Undiksha anniversary series, the Vice Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Sudiana also socialized Undiksha’s transformation from PTN BLU to PTN BH to students. It is hoped that this transformation will receive support from students, one of which is by working together to improve achievement.
This healthy walking activity was attended by students who received KIP Kulian semesters 2 and 4. This year’s XI Forkom KIPK Anniversary was also combined with Community Service (P2M) in the form of handing over necessities to the community, a national essay competition, a creative video competition, a national seminar, and a title evening. art.(hms)
