Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a handover for the position of Chair of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LPPPM), Thursday (1/9/2022). The position was handed over to Prof. Dr. I Made Ardana, M.Pd., to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., as executor (Plt).
Handover of positions by Prof. Ardana due to age requirements. The handover took place in the Rectorate’s Ganesha III Room, attended by the Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., along with the Deputy Chancellors, Bureau Heads, Deans, and Postgraduate Directors.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of Jampel expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Ardana for his performance and dedication during his two years as chairman of LPPPM. In his leadership, this academic from Denpasar is considered to have contributed a lot to the progress of the institution through strategic programs. As well as Training to Improve Basic Instructional Technique Skills (Pekerti). Its implementation is not only sustainable within Undiksha but has been able to be invited to cooperate with other tertiary institutions. “This is amazing. This shows that the implementation of Pekerti by Undiksha is very good,” he said.
Likewise the implementation of other programs, such as quality assurance and so on, shows very positive results. In the future, the implementation of the programs that have been planned can run better and be more able to support Undiksha’s progress. “Even though Mr. Made Ardana no longer serves as chairman, I hope that I can always help develop LPPPM,” said Chancellor Jampel.
Confirmed after the handover, Prof. Ardana stated that he remains committed to supporting the university’s performance. He hopes that in the future LPPPM will be even better and able to create superior resources, both in pedagogical abilities, professional abilities, social and personality.
This academic in the field of Mathematics has been involved in his dedication to LPPPM since 2016. Before serving as chairman, he was trusted as secretary. Now, in his freer time after taking office, he admits that he will return to try his hobby of cycling. “Usually I ride a bike once or twice a week, now maybe more,” he concluded with a laugh. (hms)
