Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held an evaluation of the implementation of in-depth material for the Category I 2022 In-service Teacher Professional Education (PPG Daljab) program, Friday (5/8/2022). In general, the implementation of these stages went well.
The evaluation activity took place at the Sunari Hotel, Lovina, which was attended by the committee and representatives of tutor teachers. This evaluation aims to find out the implementation of the material deepening which lasted for twelve days as well as the challenges or obstacles faced.
PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., explained that based on the discussion, the obstacles encountered at this stage were more on the technical aspect. For example, a number of participants experienced internet network difficulties and there were problems when the instructor uploaded videos of learning outcomes to the system. However, these obstacles can be handled quickly. In general, the implementation of the deepening of the material went well.
In addition to deepening the material, PPG participants must then hone their skills in preparing learning tools for two weeks. This stage is to prepare various things that will be used when implementing Field Experience Practice (PPL). In this stage which is still quite long, Undiksha continues to strive to improve the quality of service. It is hoped that PPG will run successfully this time and be able to produce superior and professional teachers.
In the midst of PPG being carried out online, Nurjaya invited all participants, instructors, and tutors to continue to improve information technology literacy skills in order to support the smooth implementation of activities.
He added that Undiksha was also trying to create innovations in the implementation of this PPG, beyond what was contained in the guidelines. This innovation is in the form of an application to control the implementation of teaching and other administrative activities. (hms)
