Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in collaboration with the Student Executive Board of the Undiksha Student Republic (BEM REMA Undiksha) again gives awards to outstanding students and lecturers in 2022 in the areas of interest, talent, and reasoning. The award was handed over in an event entitled “Academic Community Appreciation Night (MACAU)” at the Undiksha Auditorium, Friday (12/5/2023).
The award was given to hundreds of students who have won national and international achievements in various prestigious competitions. Meanwhile, awards for lecturers are given to student supervisors who are active in student programs. In addition, Undiksha also gave awards to high-performing student employee categories and a number of Highly Dedicated Student Organizations.
The presentation of this award was carried out by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Undiksha Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd. He was accompanied by a number of Deans and Vice Deans III. During the event, Prof. Suastra said that this award is held every year as a form of appreciation for the contributions of students, lecturers, and staff to the university.
At the same time, this award is expected to be a motivation to continue to develop and hone self-competencies and encourage a spirit of achievement. In the future, Undiksha’s achievements are expected to continue to increase, both on a national and international scale. This achievement is very important in order to accelerate the realization of Undiksha’s vision to become an Excellent University Based on Tri Hita Karana in Asia in 2045, in addition to increasing student competitiveness.
In the future, competition in the competition is considered to be increasingly stringent. Prof. Suastra said Undiksha would prepare adaptive strategies so that they would be more ready to compete. In addition, it also maps the potential of students from an early age and maximizes coaching. This is expected to get maximum support from the faculty and specifically from the lecturers. (hms)
