Singaraja- The Faculty of Languages and Arts at the Ganesha University of Education (FBS-Undiksha) is holding a graduation ceremony for the August 2021 graduation period, Thursday (22/7/2021). The activity, which took place online, was attended by 151 graduates consisting of the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Indonesian and Regional Literature, and the Department of Art and Design.
FBS Dean, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd., said that the success of graduates in completing their education cannot be separated from the support of various parties, starting from parents, lecturers, and also education staff. “I thank the parents for entrusting their children to study at FBS Undiksha. Likewise, the nudism participants have contributed to increasing the competitiveness of faculties and universities through achievements,” he said.
After graduation or graduation, the role of graduates does not end immediately. Support for university development is still needed, such as promotion to the general public and involvement in various activities, such as tracer studies and accreditation. “After this (graduation, red), the role remains important. Because the quality of tertiary institutions is seen from the quality of graduates and how big the role of graduates is to support university development,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, graduates are invited to continue to improve quality and explore their own superior potential. Entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, it is no less important to be able to be adaptive, namely to be able to remain competitive in the midst of rapid change. “Increasing competency and literacy must continue to be carried out as a provision to face competition and change. We want future graduates to become people who are competitive and able to contribute to development,” he concluded. (hms)
