Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) encourages and motivates students to take part in the 2022 Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB). This was conveyed by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., in a socialization event that took place online, Tuesday (12/7/2022).
At the event coordinated by UPT PKKM Undiksha, Rasben Dantes said that MSIB is a form of implementation of the Independent Campus Learning Freedom (MBKM) which has been launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture with various episodes starting in 2020. This program is considered part of the transformation of higher education. How can Higher Education carry out various activities to be able to provide experience or knowledge to students to become quality graduates, able to get decent jobs, and able to become job creators? “So we always want to provide entrepreneurial knowledge and insights to students,” he said.
Seeing its very important essence, Undiksha students were invited to take part in this national program. This is in line with national standards of higher education, students are given the opportunity to study outside their study program for three semesters. “This MSIB is a very important activity. We always motivate students to participate in this activity,” he said.
The event which carries the theme “Together in Action Carves Out Achievements through MSIB 2022” presents professional networks, including PT. Nusantara Education Zone (zenius), PT. Traveloka Indonesia, PT. Net Mediatama Television, PT. Dharma Polimetal Tbk, PT. Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, and PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk. The company is a provider of MSIB. The activity participants were students, both from Undiksha and from other universities. (hms)
