The Diploma III Midwifery Study Program recently became part of the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK) at Ganesha Education University (Undiksha). Having previously been under the auspices of the Bali Provincial Government in the form of an academy. The study program with a campus located on Jalan Bisma, Singaraja has also carried out re-accreditation from C to B. The visit of the assessor team from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education Health took place from 3 to 5 January 2019.
Deputy Chancellor I Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Sc., said that the largest state university in North Bali continues to increase its accreditation, including the D-III Midwifery Study Program which has been in place since 2017. “Since it was handed over from the Bali Provincial Government, this study program has been accredited C. We want to be able to increase it. to B and continue to A,” he said accompanied by the Dean of FOK, I Ketut Budaya Astra, S.Pd., M.Or.
This academic from Kemenuh, Gianyar Regency stated that accreditation is very important to improve university grades and graduates’ absorption in the world of work. Therefore, it is hoped that the visitation team will provide input to improve the quality of the study program. “Of course, we really hope for input to improve quality. “In Undiksha there are only two study programs that have C accreditation,” he added.
The Visitation Team, Dewi Rokhanawati S.SiT., M.P.H. said that before going into the field, her party had looked at the forms submitted. “We just need to validate it. “We have looked at the forms,” she said, accompanied by Ni Nyoman Sri Artina Dewi M.Keb who was also part of the team. (hms)
