Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) enlivened Freedom of Learning by carrying out a fun walk, Sunday (14/5/2023) morning. The event which was also a series of commemorating National Education Day was attended by the academic community.
This healthy walk was led directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd, and attended by the leadership, lecturers, Undiksha Dharma Wanita Association (DWP), and students. The fun walk entitled “Undiksha Harmoni” takes a route in the middle of Singaraja City.
In order to enliven the Freedom of Learning, Undiksha also filled it with traditional sports, namely tug of war which was attended by DWP Undiksha and representatives of each faculty and Postgraduate. In addition, there is also a sack race. The atmosphere of this event was very lively, full of togetherness and harmony.
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Lasmawan said that the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program had been carried out by Undiksha from the start, launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). The implementation of this national program will continue to be maximized and strengthened by Undiksha. Even Undiksha has targeted to carry out the Mandiri MBKM.
The implementation of the MBKM program is considered to have contributed to increasing student competence and is considered to strengthen the acceptance of Undiksha graduates in the community. This is the basis for Undiksha to fully support the implementation of MBKM in the future.
Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan, through this opportunity, invites the entire academic community to further enliven and actualize Merdeka Learning which is supported by programs designed by the Institute. The continuity of this program is expected to be guaranteed and guaranteed by each faculty. This program accelerates the achievement of quality education. (hms)
