Singaraja- The Chancellor of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) inaugurated the Head of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, on Tuesday (31/10/2023). This position is held by Prof. Dr. Komang Setemen, S.Si., M.T.
Prof. Setemen is an academic in the Department of Informatics. Previously he served as Deputy Dean II of the Undiksha Technical and Vocational Faculty. In the selection of candidates for bureau chief, he competed with six mid-level functional officials. During the inauguration, he was witnessed by the Vice Chancellors, Heads of Bureaus, Deans, and Deputy Deans at Undiksha.
In his direction, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Lasmawan emphasized that Undiksha is currently improving and is in the process of becoming a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH). In this context, the planning department has a very important role. Planning is the beginning and key to the success of management because it will color every node of the organization, especially in the current era of global management. In line with this, the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, which is currently considered to be well-managed, is expected to continue to improve the quality of work and design strategic programs.
It was also emphasized that support from other departments cannot be neglected, including from the faculty that implements the program. Synergy and collaboration are requested to continue to be established and move together to create a better and more competitive Undiksha in various lines.
Through this opportunity, Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan also expressed his thanks to Plt. Head of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Suma, M.S for his performance, ideas, and ideas which were considered extraordinary. Now, Prof. Suma will focus on carrying out additional duties as Deputy Director II of the Undiksha Postgraduate Program. (hms)
