Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) not only improves learning infrastructure (sarpras) on the Singaraja Campus. The same thing was also done at the UPP Denpasar campus which is located on Jalan Raya Sesetan. Undiksha built a lecture building whose first stone was laid on Friday (2/9/2022).
This event was attended directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, accompanied by Vice Chancellors, Bureau Heads, Deans, and Postgraduate Directors. On this occasion, the Chancellor of Jampel emphasized that the budget for the construction of this lecture building purely uses the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of the Undiksha Public Service Agency (BLU) worth IDR 17 billion. “The construction of the UPP Denpasar lecture building purely uses Undiksha BLU PNBP, which this year we have gained the trust of the community to fulfill new student admissions,” he said.
He further conveyed, the improvement of this infrastructure is in order to realize the implementation of learning that is more comfortable, safe, and representative. Development is planned to completion, including for the facilities in it. “We want this new lecture building to meet the requirements as a lecture hall,” he said.
According to the contract, the construction of this three-story building will be completed in December 2022. Therefore, project implementers are expected to work optimally and be able to use time effectively and efficiently. “Earlier, we have already used January. We hope there is no delay. If it is delayed, we will blacklist the winner of this development because he has promised to complete it according to the agreed contract,” he said.
Meanwhile, Development Planning Consultant, Ari Setia Wibawa explained that in this building there will be 19 lecture rooms with a flexible design and equipped with lecturer rooms, courtrooms, and also a library. In addition, this building also carries the concept of a green campus, which is environmentally friendly and energy efficient. “Undiksha, which promotes as a green campus, certainly underlies all of its development on green designs, namely energy-efficient buildings that pay attention to the environment in terms of water, waste, and also the energy contained in them. So this building doesn’t cost a lot when operationalized,” he explained.
Undiksha Physical Commitment Making Officer (PPK), I Gede Supriadi explained that this stage of development had started with land preparation. He is optimistic that this project can be completed on target with three shift work guarantees. In order to expedite project implementation, his party also involved a monitoring team. “We really hope that we will be assisted by all parties in making this development happen in accordance with the rules and regulations,” he added.
As long as the institute is committed to realizing Excellent Human Resources (HR), Undiksha continues to improve. Not only in the aspect of infrastructure but also in increasing the capacity of education staff and education staff. (hms)
