Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) established new collaboration with Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan Agama Hindu (Higher Education for Teacher Training and Educational Science) STKIP-AH Amlapura about the implementation of Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The MoU signing was conducted at the Office of Vice Rector I Undiksha on Wednesday (19/5/2021). Undiksha party was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.TI. accompanied by the Head of the Center for National Cooperation, Drs. I Wayan Suja, M.Si., Head of the AKPK Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, and Public Relations Officer, I Ketut Iwan Krisna, S.E., M.Pd. Meanwhile, STKIP-AH Amlapura was represented by its Director, Drs. I Wayan Dwija, M.Pd., accompanied by Vice Director II, Drs. I Ketut Seken, M.Si.
Rasben Dantes responded positively to this collaboration and considered it as a compulsory thing for universities as academic institutions. He said, “It is our duty to complement each other.” He further stated that the cooperation covered three main program, such as: teaching and learning, research, and community service. The main program for teaching and learning could be the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy.
On this occasion, it was also specifically revealed that STKIP-AH Amlapura planned to establish study program of Information System. For this reason, they requested specific collaboration in terms of teaching collaboration. This request would be discussed with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies.
Meanwhile, the Director of STKIP-AH Amlapura, I Wayan Dwija, revealed that the cooperation with Undiksha had been going on for a long time. The activities had been carried out, include curriculum reviews, and speakers by Undiksha lecturers in seminars and other activities. By signing this MoU, his party expected that the collaboration could be continued. Both parties would counduct further discussion regarding the next program. (PR)
