Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) also strengthened Bapomi Bali at the Pomnas XVIII event which took place from 12 to 22 November 2023 in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The largest university in North Bali has fielded 14 top athletes, divided into tennis, pencak silat, sepak takraw, karate, basketball, and beach volleyball.
The Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd carried out the special release of athletes at Undiksha. He, whom the Vice Chancellors accompanied, expressed his appreciation for the students’ participation and commitment to supporting Bali at this biennial event. In this prestigious competition, athletes are asked to maintain the good name of Undiksha, be able to show their best abilities, and always uphold sportsmanship. “In a match, winning is the goal. But safety and sportsmanship are a must. “Don’t just want to win the match and want to be champion, you sacrifice safety,” he advised. (hms)
