Jakarta – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has once again achieved a remarkable milestone by earning the Informative Public Agency qualification in 2024. This recognition follows the monitoring and evaluation (monev) process conducted by the Central Information Commission (KIP). The award ceremony took place at the Movenpick Hotel Ballroom, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Representing Undiksha at the event was the the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes., who also serves as the Chief Information Documentation and Management Officer (PPID) at Undiksha.
Undiksha is one of 35 state higher education institutions (PTN) to secure the informative qualification, achieving a monev score of 96,27, an improvement from the 94,53 score obtained in 2023. This consistent performance underscores Undiksha’s commitment to ensuring transparency and the effective dissemination of public information.
To maintain this prestigious status, Undiksha has implemented a series of strategic measures. These include: strengthening the capacity of public information managers, optimizing information management through the Main and Implementing PPIDs, conducting regular monitoring and evaluation of PPID performance, and launching Public Information Ambassadors initially involving students and with plans to expand to alumni. All efforts are guided by the principles outlined in Law No. 14/2008 on Public Information Disclosure, ensuring adherence to national standards of transparency.
Prof. Sudiana highlighted that this achievement is the result of exceptional support from the university’s leadership and the dedication of the PPID Undiksha. “This success is made possible by the relentless efforts of the main and Implementing PPIDs, supported by various university divisions, stakeholders, media, community leaders, and NGOs,” he said. He also reiterated Undiksha’s commitment to continuously enhancing public information services.
