Singaraja – D-3 Survey and Mapping Study Program (Prodi) Geography Department, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) followed other study programs for accreditation. Acceptance of assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), Prof. Dr. Ir. Bangun Muljo Sukojo, DEA., DESS., and Dr. Harintaka, S.T., M.T., took place, on Friday (12/7/2019).
Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., said that Undiksha continues to encourage study program accreditation. So far, there have been eight study programs that have been accredited by A. It is hoped that the D-3 Survey and Mapping study program, which was established in 2014 with an accreditation that is still attached to C, will also succeed in achieving A. “We hope that this study program can follow in the footsteps of several other study programs that are already more “I used to visit it to get the best value,” he said.
To support this accreditation, efforts have been made to improve the quality of the facilities and infrastructure needed by study programs to be able to realize quality learning. This step is considered not completely sufficient. Institutionally, Undiksha is still trying to expand access to funding to be able to provide several equipment. “The institution’s income is not yet fully established. Not yet able to cover all needs quickly. “This is why we are trying to expand access to funding,” he said.
Specifically for this field assessment, according to Lasmawan, this is to match the data attached to the form. It is hoped that assessors can provide important input to improve the quality of study programs and institutions. “What was said previously, is now being seen in the field. “What’s the portrait like?” he said. Undiksha has carried the vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia in 2045. For this reason, apart from accreditation, study programs are encouraged to realize quality activities in the education service and graduate dimensions. (hms)
