Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education held a socialization of the ethics code for new students during the Introduction to Campus Life event for Undiksha New Students (PKKMB), on the first day, Thursday, August 15, 2024. This event aims to provide a deeper understanding of the standards and regulations that are applicable on campus.
The speaker for this socialization was Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., as the Head of the Academic and Students Affairs Bureau at Undiksha, and it was attended by all new students. During the session, new students were introduced to the fundamental principles of the university’s ethic code, including the importance of ethics, students dress code, students’ rights and responsibilities, and more.
This ethic code is crucial for students as a foundation for their conduct during their studies at Undiksha. “Through this socialization, new students are expected to understand and apply the ethical values that will guide them throughout their study period. It also aims to prevent violations and foster a positive academic culture,” he stated.
This event was positively received by new students, who felt more prepared to face academic challenges and social life at the university. This socialization is expected to be the first step in creating a productive and harmonious study environment.
