Singaraja, December 11, 2024 – Two study programs at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) Computer Science and informatic Systems underwent a field assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Informatics and Computer SCience (lAM Infokom) on Wednesday, ecember 11, 2024. THis assessment aligns with the international accreditation previously obtained by both programs through the Agency for Quality Assurance through the Accreditation of Study Programs (AQAS).
The assessment opening ceremony took place at the Balingkang Seminar Room, Confucius Institute, Undiksha Campus, and was officially inaugurated by Undiksha Rector, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. Accompanied by the Vice Rectors and other university leaders, Prof. Lasmawan highlighted that despite their relatively young age, both programs have been proactively enhancing the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for education, research, and community service. “Our efforts are not only focused on academic excellence but also on strengthening learning infrastructure,” Prof. Lasmawan stated. “By improving facilities, we aim to make these study programs more competitive, both nationally and internationally.”
The LAM INdokom assessment team will evaluate various aspects, including curriculum, graduate quality facilities, and program sustainability. This process also serves as a reflection moment for undiksha to ensure its educational quality standards are effectively implemented.
Both the Computer Science and Information Systems programs previously achieved a notable milestone by securing AQAS international accreditation in 2023.
