Singaraja- Online Learning continues to be strengthened by the Ganesha University of Education. This is also balanced with increased understanding through workshops, on Tuesday (21/5/2019). The resource person, Dr. Uwes Anis Chaeruman, M.Pd., Head of the Learning Subdirectorate of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and Anggoro Suryo Pramudyo, Network Learning System Development Team of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.
In their presentations, the two speakers conveyed various things, starting from distance learning policies in accordance with those contained in Permenristekdikti Number 51 of 2018 concerning the Establishment, Changes, and Dissolution of State Universities and the Establishment, Changes, and Revocation of Private Higher Education Permits. Apart from that, there are also quality standards for online learning and technical development.
Head of the Undiksha Online Learning Development Team, Dr. I Gde Wawan Sudatha, S.Pd., S.T., M.Pd., said that the implementation of this learning model received a good response from the faculty. One of the ways this is demonstrated is the increasing enthusiasm for participating in workshops and seminars. “In terms of response, it is relatively good. “To strengthen that, this workshop is one way,” he said.
It was further stated that the implementation of learning is not only supported by the readiness of Human Resources (HR), both lecturers and students. More than that, there is also a policy, adequate infrastructure, and material readiness. “This is what needs to be prepared. Infrastructure must be provided. “The material must be developed,” he said.
Deputy Chancellor III Undiksha, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M. Kes hopes that the workshop which will be attended by faculty leaders and lecturers will be able to improve the quality of online learning which is currently being boosted. “We hope this can improve the quality of the program which will have an impact on improving the quality of the institution,” he said.
Previously, Deputy Chancellor I Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si., when opening the national blended learning seminar at the Faculty of Medicine, said that online learning at the university with eight faculties has been running since 2018. It is only targeting Personality Development Courses (MPK). “There are six that have been online and have blended learning,” he explained. This innovation continues to be strengthened by correcting shortcomings and expanding its targets. “That’s why we asked the team to improve it again. We at Undiksha have indeed done that (Online). We have also recorded e-learning that has been implemented by lecturers. Indeed, e-learning has been used for a long time. But it’s not yet a university program,” he said. (hms)
