Singaraja- The 32nd Anniversary of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) was officially opened on Friday (10/1/2025) with a Flag Ceremony. This annual event is used as a momentum to invite the entire Undiksha academic community to always give their best, in accordance with the tagline carried, “Break the Limit.”
In his speech, Undiksha’s Rector, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., said that at the age of 32, Undiksha has grown rapidly through the contribution of thoughts and struggles of the best sons and daughters of the Indonesian Nation from all corners of the country. According to him, Undiksha students are able to accelerate the progress of the nation through mastery of science, technology, culture, and humanities. Prof. Lasmawan emphasized that the founders of Undiksha have inherited science as a foothold and direction of progress for the entire academic community. “Let us give high appreciation and respect to the founders and builders of Undiksha,” he said.
As an institution, Undiksha is also committed to becoming an educational institution that carries the value of Persaje Harmony. At the age of 32 this year, Undiksha has recorded various achievements and achievements at the national and international levels. “Let us continue the brotherhood among each other and maintain the harmony of pesaje to realize Undiksha as an International Reputable University in Education and Leadership,” he added. He also invited all students to play an active role in realizing the vision of the Golden Indonesia 2045 by maintaining the dignity of Undiksha’s honorable citizens. The rector from Bonyoh Village, Bangli Regency emphasized the importance of working hard and always being active in contributing to the community and entity, so that Undiksha can become a trendsetter, not a follower who is eroded by the times.
Prof. Lasmawan also hopes that Undiksha can continue to provide positive benefits to the wider community. One way to advance Undiksha is to love what is done. “Let us grow our love and spirit of struggle at Undiksha, so that this institution can continue to progress and develop in the future,” he explained.
Through this year’s anniversary theme, Prof. Lasmawan invites the entire Undiksha academic community to do extraordinary things, making Undiksha a second home that deserves to be loved forever.
This anniversary was filled with various activities, one of which was the expo which was opened on Friday (10/1/2025). The expo, which was centered at the Undiksha Football Field, lasted until January 16, 2025. Various activities and innovation exhibitions from each faculty and unit at Undiksha enlivened this event, which aims to introduce research results, innovative products, and technological developments that have been created by the Undiksha academic community. Not only that, the expo is also a place to strengthen relationships between students, lecturers, staff, and the general public. (hms)
