Bangli– Implementation of the 2023 Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) at the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) in the Bangli Regency area has ended. The Regent of Bangli, Sang Nyoman Sedana Arta, S.E. expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this annual program. This was conveyed at the handover of students to the campus, on Saturday (26/8/2023).
The implementation of the KKNT is spread across 52 villages. Students were deployed on July 10, 2023. For about five weeks, students carry out a number of programs, consisting of mandatory group programs on disaster response; group choice programs consisting of village institutional/HR management programs, Source-Based Waste Management, Environmental Sanitation and Health, Tourism Development, conservation or sociocultural, economic, and entrepreneurship strengthening. In addition, there is an individual program in the form of foster families.
The Regent of Bangli, Sang Nyoman Sedana Arta expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the KKNT carried out by Undiksha. The presence of students in the village is considered to have brought a new color in the form of a program that is in line with the plans of the Bangli Regency government. “I like the KKNT model. The program implemented is very useful for us in Bangli Regency. How do you include the issue of stunting, rabies, food security, BUMDes education,” he said while giving his speech.
The regent from Sulahan Village, Susut District invites students to always support the development of Bangli Regency in the future and participate in promoting the region’s potential. “Become an ambassador for Bangli Regency, a development ambassador, a tourism ambassador, and so on,” he invited.
Through this opportunity, Sedana Arta also provides motivation to students. He talked about his experience in studying. As someone who was born into a farming family, while studying at the Bali State Polytechnic, he was often constrained by costs. But thanks to strong determination and persistence and wanting to make dreams come true, the dynamics can be passed. In fact, it was his enthusiasm that also served as an introduction to becoming the number one person on earth, Bhukti Mukti Bhakti.
Head of Undiksha Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Sc, who represented the Chancellor, expressed his appreciation to the Bangli Regency Government for supporting the implementation of this KKNT. He realized that the implementation of the program was relatively short. However, the presence of students is expected to contribute to the implementation of village development. (hms)
